Another question... What if I don't want to 'drip?' Is there another alternative? Are there tanks you can buy already filled with juice and wick? Once you're done with the tank, just pop another on and off you go? Find the more I read the more questions I have. EC forums has a lot of thread, but haven't been able to find one that breaks it all down.
Ok KAMM has got me considering this whole vape thing. One questions I would like to ask here. Anyone have any hands on with a G pen from Grenco Science? I am also looking at some suggestions she has mentioned.
It's interesting cause vaping tends to be a lot more accessible then smoking. I will end up vapeing whenever I have a break of some kind. Since its only twice a day I would suggest dripping. Even though you don't want to. You drip a few drops take a few drags and you're good. OR you could go for clearomizers whh are fairly inexpensive. Buy a few of those and fill them up with your fav juice and switch then put if you get tired of that flavor. Maybe you can fill up a cartomizer? Those take more juice then an atomizer and are also cheap.
This is where I'm getting confused. What would you 'drip' a few drops on? Would a Kanger Pro-tank be something that you drop a few drops in and go at it? I'm thinking I would like to try this route as well. Thanks for the info. Going to look up clearomizers.
Kanger pro tank info= ^ GrimmGreen on YouTube is amazing. Explains things so well. Yah the clearomizers are very fool proof.
kamm, with mechanicals, I found that when the feeding device isn't firing, and I know the battery is good, and I'm sure the coil is a working coil. then I go the screw in connection on the mod. most (including the GLV's) the center pin is a screw and its adjustable. it does two things actually. one, when its raised it gives more air to the draw and screwing into the mod tightens the draw. secondly, when its screwed in a little too much, no connection. with the GLV's the adjustment is in the opposite end of the screw connection. just remove the black little end cap. and find a metric allen key to fit and screw the connector in more, then you should get connection to the feeding system. don't replace the black cap right away. so, you can tweak it for draw. GLV mods are know for a tight draw. even going from one brand atty to another, carto to carto etc etc. many times the connection needs a tweak.
Hey guys, looking into these for my first 18650 mod. There are so many options, its mind boggling... Is there a better first option out there than the Vamo, in the budget friendly $50ish range? Ive found a kit deal with a nitecore charger and 2 batts in that price range (no tank) ... What is the deal with the tanks? Do they wear out? Is this where the "rebuildable" comes into play? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Id like to spend what money I can, wisely. Edit: Its from China tho...id pay a few more bucks in the US just so I dont have to wait forever.
kamm let me know if the glv is working now. also I was thinking your are probably using a 510 to 510 adapter and some adapters also use a adjustable screw to make the connection and they may need to be tweaked the same as the mod.. actually i'd tweak the adapter first.
Yah I had to adjust that darn pin. Haven't got the adapter in yet but I will use that when I get a tank. Haven't found a flavor I want to commit a tank to though. thanks for the help.
The vamo is an AWESOME first chose. An all around great vape. The tanks are for when you don't wanna keep filling up your cartomizer. The juice will last you a lot longer due to the tanks. The "rebuildable" thing you're seeing is for atomizers. Which means you can make your own coils. WAY more hi tech then where you wanna be right now. How often do you plan to vape?
Thanks KAMM. Ill be "chain vaping" so im definitely interested in the tank. Wheres the US vamo deals? Its crazy how much cheaper it is from china!
You can get it at "Empiremods" and they also have pretty much everything else you would need. Now tanks, I would suggest getting the liquinator tank. Pretty solid and easy tank to use.
So there is no part in the tank that wears out or has to be replaced? You just buy the Vamo and a 510 threaded tank...good to go?
No. the tank takes 510 Cartomizers. So you'll need those. Either prepunched or you'll need to buy a carto punch to do it yourself. Without the holes the liquid would have no where to go. that's the thing that would wear and need to be replaced every now and then. You'll also need your chose of e-liquid
Thanks for the heads up, kinda thought I was missing something! Now to find cartomizers in bulk! I woulda been pissed when it showed up and I couldn't use it LOL
Yes, you need to change it once every 4-6 weeks depending on how much you vape. A burned coil will not vape properly, you will have a burnt taste once its life is over. Some coil can be rebuilt, some other not, depending on you model. It's not very expensive, around 2-5$ depending on the model.
