Its for the eGrip. Joyetech now has an RBA for the egrip. I hope to have it by the end of the week. It comes with a few pre-made 1.2ohm coils, some "organic Japanese cotton" and the RBA head/base for eGrip.
eGrip RBA was delivered this morning (ordered less then 24 hours ago from Cignot). Just an unboxing pic with all the "little things"... Cotton, extra pre-made coils, Kanthal, extra screws, gaskets and few other things for the future. Just installed and this thing is a bowl of rice crispies, snap crackle pop, huge flavor, big clouds of vapor. Should be included with the eGrip kit. A few quick notes about performance of this eGrip RBA Base/Coil. Granted... I've only had this for 6 hours now. 1. Flavor is very good 2. Not as "dry" out of the box as the OEM Atomizer heads. More of a moist vapor. 3. The only changes in flavor are getting better as it gets "seasoned" 4. No gurgling, No dry burnt hits (I do use a High PG Juice). The wicking seems to be very good, keeps up with heavy vaping and higher wattage/voltage settings on eGrip. 5. Airflow is very good, you can also block that air hole to feed more juice easily to coil.
Joyetech Atomizers and boge cartos used to last me 2 weeks to a month or more. Im not into the idea of rebuilding a coil, but for the last 12 months, the lower quality atomizers/cartomizers that are now being produced, Im lucky if they last a few days or a week... cost savings will be nice!
I understand. I like e juice that gunks the coils too much. The clearomizer coil prices were killing me. Sometimes they needed changing in 3 days. Way too costly for me. A little wire, and some cotton is much cheaper in the long run.
Go with rebuildables. Slight learning curve, but once you get 100 feet of Kanthal, a bag of organic cotton and a way to measure the resistance of the coils (around $20 total) there's no going back.
Someone sent me a rebuildable clone. I love it. I wasn't sure if I wanted to put down a chunk of change for a Kayfun. But now I see how they work, and I really enjoy this. I thought it would be a lot of work. Sometimes it is. But the end result is worth it to me. I definitely save money with the rebuildable.
I thought the same... Until I found the orchid rba. Dual coil subohming with a 4ml tank. Amaze-balls. Sent from my tablet
Just picked up the aspire atlantis, pretty happy with it so far. I've gone away from the rebuildables right now, just for time savings, ease of use... I'll get back to the kayfun's and drippers at some point i'm sure!
You know the advancements in stock tanks and coils has come a long way since just last year. I switched to rebuildables mostly for performance reasons. Then switched to rebuildable tanks for convenience with still great performance. I've been looking at some of Kangers and Aspires newer tanks and they look impressive. I'm considering picking one up. Nothing beats em for convenience while on the road. When I used them in the past I'd carry extra coils on me and knew I was good. Now with the Kayfuns, if my coil pops on the road in kinda screwed since I dont carry all the supplies to rebuild. I really need to get a good stock setup for emergencies at least.
I have both the Kanger mega and the new aspire atlantis. The atlantis seems to shine and give more flavor and tremendous vapor production over the mega. That being said, I will still use them both as I will keep seperate flavors in each tank now, until I run out of spare coils for each! The atlantis is HUGE on vapor, and i'm going to try other tips, as the wide mouth is just to much most of the time. Right now to "conserve" eliquid, i'm using the 2nd smallest airhole. Its a good compromise for me personally for flavor and not a lot of vapor (which I do not want when out and about).
I like small, easily pocketable setups. That was always the disadvantage of rebuildables for me. The setup I'm using now is really small and packs a punch.
