I didn't know what an LMF spoon was when I made it. However I needed something to carry in my shirt pocket at camp, because we eat stuff right out of the fire:)

 Yankee ingenuity from a Tar Heel  Huh.......

You're going to laugh, but a long time ago, my wife mentioned to her brother that she was going to get me a Ti spork as a stocking stuffer. We usually have family over on Christmas Eve, so he did what you did, then switched them out that evening. I don't remember who was more surprised in the morning- me of the wife. I still have that hillbilly spork somewhere.

I sometimes use a spork and knife/spatula from outdoor products. I hate the flimsy, springy plastic forks at work. There's a huge potential for flicking food across the office. The spork is much tougher, and due to the matt finish, keeps food from falling off easily.

I have a CRKT eat n tool in my backpack, and an Atwood sporkula in my wallet.
    Both serve me well.

It's a sign that I'm obsessing - I'm seriously debating ordering the Snow Peak "ramen spork" just to say I have it. :help:

Daily Lunch use (still dirty from today)...

Did not like using the folding or shorter spork type any more than the dual use/sided sporks… one tool, one use (the Ti Snow Peak spork works remarkably well as both a spoon for soup and a fork for salad.. I thought it would suck at both when I got it a year ago).

I have both models from the posts directly above me. The Snow Peak spork is in my EDC bag, I use it more often. The LMF spork is with the camping and BBQ stuff in the car. It’s not as comfortable in the hand, but the dedicated fork and spoon are sometimes better at what I need them for.

Agreed dedicated is best. The "knife " part of the multi sport is never good; plus I've got knives I don't even know what to do with

I also have a titanium fork/spoon/knife set. For scraping on a plate I don’t want to use a sharp knife and destroy the edge.

Good point... Also brought up a question; does anybody use a titanium plate? I ask because plates and utensils are a rarity at my work so I have to bring my own. How are they for ware as every day use?

Been working on my EDC "kitchen" and figure the 12oz Ti cup can multi-task as a plate, cup, kettle, pot, dog bowl, shot glass, etc. Have to use a plastic spoon to avoid the Ti on Ti, fingernail-on-chalkboard thing.
