+1. I ordered a Multicam pack, it arrived, I packed it full of stuff and thought that it would make me a target right away if something went down.
Hey Jay, The only Multicam pack I have now is a 20L, Wisport Sparrow which I've never really used. You can have it for cheap if you want it? Sent from my FIG-LX1 using Tapatalk
Hey, That's an incredibly kind offer thank you, I'm into the Eagle lay out so I will respectful decline but really appreciate the kind thought . You still rocking Goruck? Did you see Yompnotes GR1 set up it's very smart
I have the Goruck and I use it quite a lot, but I have the 26L version and I just end up carrying way way too much stuff. I got a 17L Millican shoulder bag yesterday and it is much lighter. I think I'll be carrying that more for day to day things. I saw it on his blog I think.
Just curious if anyone was still using this bag? If so, have you ever found that the shoulder straps are a bit too unstructured? I have a Goruck 10L Bullet and this looks like it's a smidge bigger and may help with organization.
I've been using the First Spear bag for a 1.5 years now. Love the bag. I don't carry a ton around (cords, power bank, tablet, pens, small 1st aid kit, etc). Currently, my bag is 7.4 lbs and I don't feel that the shoulder straps need anything further with the weight I'm carrying; minimal padding on the straps but again, I don't feel it's needed with this bag. IMO.
So I broke down and ordered the grey one tonight. Pics to come Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
This thread just won’t die! There must be a few people who’ve had some experience with these bags now. How is everyone finding them?
If you get one I highly advise you put a d-ring on the front for a carry handle. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
I think grey is the best color personally. It’s everything I’d hoped it would be. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
Great idea about the 'biner for a handle. I wanted to tuck away the existing carry strap at the top, as it stuck out too much. I sewed a velcro loop to the back of the bag...then ironed the strap down and sewed a velcro hook side triangle to the strap.....see pic links below: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1txfKW-xKAeogydcdaVlRCvMme3nipCaX/view?usp=sharing https://drive.google.com/file/d/1_5fxlpp8RThYOE-Ty4eGzMcG7fVavXKH/view?usp=sharing
Nice mod. May have to do that myself. The only thing I don’t like is the molle on the sides. It really doesn’t serve much purpose. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
