also used one in my hydration backpack to keep the hose in place. my beltbag also has one to connect the 2 grab handles together just to keep the main compartment secure since it'll be hard to open it up with those grab handles.

I also have a couple attached to the various pieces of gear that i have, but i don´t actually know why.. I mean, Grimlock´s are not that great (IMHO), a regular carabiner is a lot more secure and easier to use than they are.

    Pics you say?

First up are a couple grimlocs, one for my gloves, and the other is just hanging out:

Next is a Web Dominator that I attached the lanyard for my SF A2 to. Lanyard is straight off StormDranes blog.

On the straps I've got a web dominator on the right for hydration tube, and Grimloc on the left (non firing shoulder) for gloves if needed.

Finally, a shot of web dominators being used as designed:

After using a carbiner for a while, royal :censored: that was, I switched to a grimloc on my colossus. On it hangs a split ring with all those annoying scan tags every store seems to have for a discount now, my wifes key fob (electronic locks, trunk and ignition) and a half dozen hair ties.

I have 2 attached to my Rush 12 right strap for easy access to frequently used keys. I commandeered them off an Army friend :)

It's a bit noisy for now until I finish sewing together some elastic.

Mostly use one to hang a hat. That's about it. At least at this point.

I have a Velcro strap on my belt with a grimloc on it (similar to a mapped keyper)
I use it to hold the work car keys, when Im at work, it's easy to use, pretty secure, and fairly quiet too.

I also have one on the shoulder strap of my Camelbak, I use it to keep the hose In the right spot (camera straps normally have it flapping about wildly very quickly, but the grimloc holds it well)

When I finally figure out what I want in an iPad/work/edc bag it will probably have a few clipped to it.

I use them when I go on my mission trips. I have used from hanging fluids for IV's, Stethoscopes, and my dump pouch. I have used them for hanging my head lamp for transport on hikes. Great carrying daisy chained webbing.

I keep sets of keys on them. I drilled a hole in the grimloc and put the split ring through it. I've had keys slip off carabiners under the right circumstances and I've also seen carabiners that have been drilled.

I just went hiking through the jungle this past weekend with my Camelbak MULE. I took off my boots to put on water socks for some waterfall exploring and I used the grimlocs to hang my muddy boots from.

I have one for each set of keys. Very handy and fit through most belts and belt loops.
