Just realized I'm going to have to go Righty....

So, I just ordered a new Citizen Nighthawk last night and, thinking about it a little while ago I realized that I'm going to have to wear it on my right wrist. I started out wearing my watch on my right wrist when I was in middle school, but I switched it to the left at some point. I even wore it nurse-style, upside down for a while. And but so, the Nighthawk has a slide rule bezel with the control crown at 8 o'clock. With the watch on my left wrist, turning the bezel control crown will be super awkward, plus it'll put my hand in the way of seeing what I'm doing. Anyone have any sort of experience with this? Which wrist do you carry on?

Lefty. I have one watch (Kobold) with crown at 7:00 so I could wear it righty but I'm too accustomed to left wrist wear.

I wear lefty nowadays. I changed due to the damage spilled beer was doing to my watches on my R wrist when I was a bartender!

I'm left-handed, and always wear a watch on my right wrist. I never really thought about it--just assumed that all lefties did it that way. But last month my father, who is also left-handed, pointed out that he wears his watch on his left wrist--and thought everyone did! Whatever's comfortable, I guess.

I too, am a left-handed person. I write lefty, but throw right-handed. I start IV's usually left handed as well. So you would think that looking down at my watch, I would want it on the right. Makes sense. Just doesn't feel comfortable that way to me, and it is something that I have gotten use to wearing it on the left. Plus, now I have a mean tan line on my left wrist. Haha.

See, that's what I figure is the main reason for righties wearing on their left and vice versa. I guess we will see if it gets in the way while writing or not and go from there.

On my left. I can remember my grandma telling me that's what wrist it goes on when I was about 5.

    Grandma Inga was always right.

Righty who used to wear on the right when in grammar school, then switched when backpacking in scouts....was more comfortable for activities like chopping wood w/ a hatchet.

I'm right handed and wear on my left. That's just how I was taught to do it, but it is convenient since I figure I'm less likely to damage it that way.
