Hi all, I just wanted to give everyone a heads-up that we are in the process of having some of our stainless steel parts DLC coated (Diamond Like Carbon). For those of you not familiar with this process, it offers a very durable, hard, very dark-gray (not a true black) coating that not only resists scratches and wear, but offers a near-black color. Here are some samples we recently had done: Soon you will be able to run in stealth mode and use a P-7 clip on dark slacks! We are going to do P-7 clips (single and 2-packs), the entire Isotope (tritium vial mounts) product line, as well as a small batch of stainless steel glow fobs. An announcement will be made once they are available. Comments/feedback welcome!
That is awesome! I experimented with painting a p-7. Was not very successful. I like this idea very much.
Thank you. Yes, the minimum run was the gating factor, but now we have enough product and sales to justify it.

Great idea, TEC! I like the look of DLC coating, but don't have personal experience with it. I don't know that I've ever seen pictures of worn DLC coating.
