Do many of you find video reviews like this helpful? I'd be interested in hearing from you. Too long? Too rushed? Is this part of the forum dead and I'm just beating a dead horse? I have no answers but I'm just here to pump the views on my channel and get subscribers so I can get in on that sweet sweet Youtube Ad Revenue... oh wait...

This bag is a knockoff of the design features of the ver. 2 ITS (Imminent Threat Solutions) messenger bag.

IIRC the Direct Action Messenger Mk1 came out in 2014/2015. The ITS Ver 2 came out 2017/2018 correct? So I'm not tracking with your claim. I'm sure the ITS bag is quite a bit of kit, but that price point is a bit streep for an average joe like myself.

I got one of these right when they were released to carry my 13" MBP and the pouch was too tight to fit mine in????

    Game Over!

Seemed OK otherwise but if the computer they listed does not fit what is the point exactly?

I got a Vanquest which is much roomier and a better value as well.

I was hopeful but I found this one to be just too tiny to be useable at all.

I have owned both .... ITS Gen 2 DM Bag and the Direct Action Messenger Bag. The DA Bag is a Great Product and a Awesome Price Point. My only issue was I Bag Carry My CCW , and that left me without a lot of room for everything else I carried. Now , is that a bad thing , No. It made me reevaluate my EDC carry stuff and that was a good thing. In the end I sold it for more room, it’s still carried by my friend and he loves it. I could not find fault with the Quality or Layout.
After continuing my quest for the “Grail Bag” I finally ended up want to go back to the ITS Gen 2 DM Bag, but by then they were discontinued. However, Bryan (the owner) found some on a back shelf , and put them up on eBay. I was able to get one and my Quest is now over.
DIRECT ACTION MESSENGER.... GREAT PRODUCT, GREAT VALUE , GREAT DESIGN ..... HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

I completely agree about storage size. They could almost ditch the underflap pockets and enlarge the body by an inch or so. Those people that off body/bag carry get a bit more room and the main part of the bag isn't just for slim items. It is a good bag and well made, but for MY needs I have better options. Even though it is larger, the Timbuk2 Especial Messenger in the large size is generally what I lug around.
