GeneralGlenn - both ManVsLawn and myself carry hairties for daughters and neither of us have long hair.
Actually I suspect Lou_G and Tegan's Dad do too...... For their daughters that is..:giggle:

I carry 3x hair clips, 2x hair tie, a safety pin all on my belt.:giggle: Off work, only.

I can restrain my messy child's hair 2-3x times and she can lose them, and I'll still have a backup :rofl_revamped: She is 3.5yrs old and hasn't had a haircut yet. It is almost to her booty!

Here come the jokes about the pants/crotch and muffin top and tramp stamp... Bring 'em on.:bomb:

They don't come off unless they are used.

I carry them for my own glorious mane, but my girlfriend steals them more often than I lose them. They come in handy so many times though. I have those ranger bands you make by cutting a bicycle inner tire (name?), but I seem to use the hairties more for a whole lot of purposes.

    They're underrated really.

ManVsLawn, nice setup you have there batdad

I wish I could find the post where I used Hair Ties to keep a broken bathroom stall door closed while I did my business...

Clever! How does that work? I imagine it doesn't 'lock' the door?

    Epic episode, that was

I just ran it around the 'female' and 'male' parts of the lock, on the door. No, it doesn't securely lock the door. But it is better than the door swinging open, someone actually pushing it open, or having to hold the door with your hand while you do your duty.

today was pack up day for boy scout summer camp. after packing the trailer, we went to local mexican place for dinner. i was sitting with few boys that crossed over to boy scout 4 yrs ago. i asked them if they were prepared. they looked at me funny. so i pulled out my pm2, copper AAA flashlight, mini pry bar, bottle opener, fountain pen, and a notebook. all from my shorts pockets. yeah.. they thought i was crazy. so i used my edc in good use freaking out boy scouts.

Today I decided to mow the lawn, and by lawn I mean three feet of napweed I've been neglecting all summer. So after awhile I took a break. When I got back to it the pull start rope on the mower broke when I tried starting so I whipped out some paracord cut it to length with my EDC CRKT knife and burned the ends with my EDC Zippo and was back up and running in no time.

lol fixed! Whats even funnier is that I was watching KY Afield. The host, Tim Farmer, only has a functioning left hand but still does all of this hunting and bowfishing and stuff.

That is it! I used my hair band of Wizardry, and a spell of words, to keep the door closed.

At least I didn't fall into the toilet and have to battle a Balrog.....
