While I had my son's tire off to fix a flat, I used my Delica to open a new set of brake pads since his weren't really working that well anymore.

Kids and their lockers... they get their coats and backpack straps caught and then come running to get me. I'm beginning to regret being good at opening stuck lockers. One was only partially closed, so the widgy bar pulled it open and the Gecko Shark pushed a backpack strap and coat out of the way. It's nice to not have to stick your fingers in something like that. The other locker had something stuck in the mechanism and I needed to put my C clamp onto the lever to get a little more leverage to finally pop it open.

I used my Boker Magnum tonight to open the courier pack that my replacement Telstra T-Box came in, then to open the box.. Wicked sharp and was awesome to use.

I used my Ontario Rat M2 to open the bags the cables came in to set it up..

I used my Fenix LD10 to search out shelf fixtures at work this morning even though there are lights as well as skylights above the area is very dim especially when looking into 4 foot deep shelves and trying to find stuff shoved to the back of them.

I carried the bag about, I used a pen and err... The phone, that is about it. It was a disappointing day as the phone was being used as a torch as I didn't actually have a battery in my light when I went to use it (I am actually ashamed).

Used my flashlight this morning to dig around under my fridge to figure out why it was getting warm. Then used it to make sure I got all the pet fur off the coils. Amazing how that stuff builds up.

Used the ESEE zancudo later to open a couple of packages at work.

Used my Wingman to dig staples out of a cardboard box and then used my Ladybug hawkbill to cut up some boxes for recycling.

Used my EDCF Stockman to cut the obnoxious safety ring thingy off a package of cashews and my Strider Baby Huey to open a box. Partly just because I wanted to and partly because it was on my desk at home.

I used all my EDC gear today, that's why I carry it everyday. Gerber multi tool, Kershaw OSOsweet, leatherman cs, and Copenhagen. Probly used the Copenhagen the most, kinda stressful day.

I had to take the wife to the Dr last night, she officially has the flu, glad she gets that flu shot every year[IMG].
We had 8 inches of snow and high winds so the roads were horrible. We drove my Audi A4 because I prefer it on slippery roads.

On the way home, a teenaged girl in a Civic hit a large speedbump, made of snow, and had slid off into the ditch. 3 of the four tires off the road, the front tires were buried. I pulled into a driveway and watched 2 SUVs and a pickup go by her and not even slow down. So I went back and told her I'd pull her out. She was skeptical. As I was hooking up the strap, a guy in a Jeep stopped and said, I gotta see this. I had her put it in neutral, turned my traction control off, left a little slack in the strap, put it in first and stomped on it. Pulled her about 20 feet along the ditch until it finally jumped back up on the road. I tried to get the wife out of the car to video the experience but she just mumbled something about having the flu, the wind chill being below zero, blah, blah, blah. Such a drama queen.

So, in EDC related news, my Zebralight SC52W was handy as I layed in 8 inches of snow looking for a worthy attachment point for the strap. My trusty Cold Steel ProLite prove to be a good icepick, since the loop for hooking a strap to on the Civic was encrusted in an inch of ice. It also worked great to cut the strap when I was done, since I had to pass it through the loop on my car and tie it in a knot. I was also thankful to have my Mad Bomber hat shoved in my bag, it was chilly.
