Swisstool Spirit to tighten the hose clamp attaching the intake to the Air Filter housing on a 15 Pass van (the intake had come off the filter housing and the van would hardly run). Spyderco Manix 2 Sprint to cut some tie line Surefire E2DL Ultra for looking in the back of an amp rack. Swisstool Spirit again to flip some tiny switches on the back of the amp. Silver grippers lent to someone else to remove a splinter. Gave out a band aid from my wallet Olight i3 helped in replacing a bad taillight bulb Smartphone to video call my wife and troubleshoot a starter problem with her car. Yep, it was a pretty full day for my EDC.
Felt like I haven't used my EDC in a while, so I just sliced up an apple and a pear with the Vic Compact. While I was at it I tightened up all the screws on the cabinet knobs with the flathead on said sak.
I smashed my pinky finger a few weeks ago well the finger nail is black and I'm starting to lose it, today at work I got it caught on something and pulled the end loose. I quickly pulled out my LM Wave pulled out the scissors and cut the nail back to where it's still attached. I didn't want the loose part getting caught again and ripping the nail free.
Used my tactical folder today to cut a tactical piece of Air filter screen (it was black!) I deployed said tactical ZT 0561 with one gloved hand and strategically sliced through the screen...tactically Then I deployed my spy camera(iPhone), and as if I was photographing the enemies files, I snapped a pic. Plumber...SAKplumber
Me, my three year old lad and the dog were walking down the park today. Approaching us was a couple and their young daughter, who was riding one of those micro-scooter things. As we got closer, she fell off it and the handle broke off as one of the screws had come undone. I could hear her dad trying to comfort her as she was quite upset it'd broken. When our paths crossed, I whipped out my LM Surge and said to the dad, 'do you need a screwdriver?' to which he replied he did. Anyway, a couple of minutes later and I've fixed this girls scooter. The best part was the proud look my son gave me for fixing it. He's always bringing things to daddy to repair as he knows that I've always got a tool of some sort on me. The LM has actually got his initials and DOB engraved on it as one day I intend on passing it down to him.
Did a "classic": Open a box of new knives with an older one. I have to get back to work sometime soon...
This weekend I used my Swiss Sportsman to unpack some new computers in my father's office. I also used Frankentool to remove the door on one of his office's rooms so we could get a chair out, and to fix part of a filing cabinet. And today I used my snow brush to brush snow off the truck, which I insist counts.
Used my EDCF Spyderco Native 5 to open a pack of sharpie pens, and my Leatherman Original Wave to pull the end off a drawing marker.
And I just stripped my third T6 bit. I think it's time to spend some real money on a stronger metal. S30V torx bits anyone?
OK, which Bond movie did you watch recently? Nice Knife! GEC? Naw, then your just gonna strip out a lot of screws
Slow day so far; Used the RAT 2 to open the passaround box when it arrived, Used my i3S to see into a cubby hole storage area trying to find an item that I want to add to the box.
So my gal just sent me this pic of how her day started. Gets to work ( on an air base ) to find the power out and all coworkers standing in the dark...deploys PD32 from fatty organizer in the dark as she has learned to ( we train as we fight at our house) yells " all hail the bag" and gets to work! I love that woman!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
God was sure smiling down on me the day he brought her into my life. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
This past weekend My wife's family had a birthday party for her now 86 year old Grandfather. Her cousin's 2 year old son accidentally decided to lock himself in the bathroom and couldn't figure how to get out. Thanks to my trusty SAK that never leaves my side I was able to unlock the door to get him out.
