Not a hard task, but I used my ZT562cf to cut a carrot in order to make a nose for my children's snowman... It is still snowing here, in Quebec...:frantic:

I was recently at a relative's house whose can opener was broken, and my task was to open three cans of beans. I just got an Alox Bantam and I thought I would never have to open a can with it. I opened three.

Carried my Kershaw Funxion Outdoor, Gerber Dime and Sipik SK68-clone today to work around the yard. The Funxion's saw blade worked better than expected for cutting through some thick overgrown brush between weed-eating; the light is always important for checking for wasps nests underneath patio shelves; and the Dime didn't really come in much use today aside from opening a beer after dinner.

Finally went to bed at 1030 this morning. Got up at 1230 and used keys to go where I had to go and return from where I went. Used PM2 to cut up an apple in the meantime. Phone was used for Internet, calls, texts, email, and for this reply. Checked the time multiple times on the wristwatch and opened a can for supper with a P51.

The combo tool isn't exactly the sharpest in the shed, but it can open a few cans in a pinch.

We had another dreary, windy, rainy day today. I stayed home and finally did my taxes. Used my E05 to see in a cubby hole to find my folder with last years tax information and my Grandpop's Cross Century pen to scribble some notes.

It was trash and recycle night, my edc's favorite day of the week, lol. It was still cold and rainy, so my ratty old Dale, Jr. ball cap was used to keep my head dry and to hold my Illuminati for use as a headlamp. The door to my Mom's greenhouse had blown open in the wind and one of the see through plastic panels was half popped out, so I used my CC widgy bar to push the panel back into place before I re-secured the door. My Zancudo was used to cut some cardboard and tape when getting the recycle ready. My Nitecore MT2A was used to scan the backyard just for the fun of it... it was so nasty, even the bunny rabbits were hiding. And lastly, my Duluth "winter proof" work gloves were used to handle the slick, wet trash cans and to keep my fingers warm.

Aaargh! That reminds me I need to do my taxes!:( I guess I should thank you, even though gratitude doesn't exactly describe how I feel right now....

Used the HDS Tactical 325 to light up a gas control valve to see if the factory had caused me any gas leaks before leaving a customers home today...

Went to visit the Jamestown settlement today.

Used my Streamlight Nano to look at some of the darker exhibits. And more interestingly, used the scissors on my LM Juice to cut chewing gum out of my fiancé's hair.

Obviously, for a variety of reasons, this won't work in all situations, but peanut butter will get the gum out without cutting the hair.

I'm not a mom or a scientist, so how should I know? It does work though.

I think the oils break down the adhesives in the gum.

The oil in the peanut butter dissolves the binding agents in the gum
