I'm keeping this pic to show my warehouse guy. I denied this heater when I saw the box cut open at the bottom. Turns out they cut it open to inspect it after the box was damaged. I looked in as well and the cover kept me from seeing the cracked sightglass. It wasn't until I saw this pic that I realized it.

I used my new Fenix PD32 to look under the hood of the car as I filled the washer fluid reservoir.

Yesterday my skeletool got used twice to open the foil seals on bottles at the gas station, one of Heat( for those in the south; ;) alchohol additive for gas, traps moisture/water to burn it through the engine) and the other of brake fluid... got a slow leak in my trucks rear brakes, and I suddenly lost all pedal in the morning when the resivoir ran dry... was a little fun having almost no brakes on a glare ice road ;)

Oh yeah, had to use the skele pliers to get the iced up cap off the Heat bottle to begin with...

Pen and field notes at church, for, well, notes ;)

Rofis flashlight after church to check on the trash bin when leaving, along with lights out building and parking lot maneuvering to get to the truck.

my Olight 13S neck light after lunch at a friends to look for a lost chess pawn under the table.

Oh yeah, used my knife(Colt congress) to open a bag of salt for the water softener at church.

I left my EDC pouch at home today. I feel naked. Also first day of a new job so I don't have my desk stocked yet. So I will not use my EDC carry today.

Had to use the gorilla tape around my flashlight to fix my motorcycle's cracked windshield. The previous pieces lasted about 3 month with rain, cold temperatures and of course riding so lots of wind. Used my Swisscard for small stuff. Never thought I would like it so much :)

The kitchen sink plug chain became detached so I used my mighty Swisstool pliers to reattach it, in a sledgehammer cracking a nut kind of way.

Man, didn't we used to have sink plug chains in the US? I don't think I've seen one in a LONG time.

First snow of the season with accumulation here in DC. Pretty cold and icy out. With the wife walking our dogs. We turn a corner and the entire street looks like a blackout, not so much the buildings but the streetlights are all out (18th street near Adams Morgan). Whip out my flashlight and we're good (cheap $5.00 Ultrafire from Amazon, flood light type). Wife looks on her keychain when she remembers that I added a keychain light for her.

"how do I turn this on?" she asks.

    "that's a whistle" I respond.

And then I reach over and turn on her light (one of the freebies from battery junction, she didn't want anything "heavier" than that on her dog walking keychain).

We managed to avoid black ice and found a dog shoe (yes shoe) when it fell off.

My wife later admitted to trying to use the kensington USB (data traveler model) as a whistle, which is on her other keychain.

She's very intelligent otherwise but really has ditz moments like this daily.

Bought a stylus yesterday morning. Using it on my phone for the last 40 minutes to search forums and type. Much better than my fat finger.

I used my Pioneer to remove a couple of spots from an apple.

EDIT: I later used the same blade to sharpen a pencil that was too thick for the sharpener.

Bandicoot helped me get into the paint at work again. :)

Also used my stockman to scrape some left over masking tape off of some trim after the last guy painted that area.

i3S neck light got a lot of use in and out of the truck in dark yards, checking on tools in the truck etc..

Chronograph on my watch to time the 1 hour repcoat time on the paint.

Knipex plier-wrench to disconnect the empty propane tank at home.
Used it as a hammer to chip ice off the fittings too...

Credit card from my wallet to try to slip the door lock, after I gotto the job site and realized I'd forgotten the keys(it worked, technically... that lock sucks... But I had, in this case unfortunetally, also set the deadbolt... and it fits right, I adjusted it myself... no way around it without destroying the door.)

Pen to do some word puzzles while waiting for paint to dry, and CCW used as peace of mind while alone in the house/somewhat remote neighborhood.
