I have both Endura forever and Delica couple years. Delica for edc and endura for work around the house, camping, climbing, etc. In MI it is "best" to keep your pocket knife to 3" blade.

I find the Delica to be the perfectly sized EDC knife, with the Dragonfly a close second; any larger or any smaller, and I probably won't carry it.

I'll go with Delica. I've owned an Endura and my wife has a Delica. I sold my Endura because the blade was absolutely monstrous and I didn't like the back lock it used. Delica is hugely popular around here and other forums. You can't go wrong with either, but Delica is probably a better fit.

I have found the wave model, but I like the one with colored scales and found it for a good deal. I had seen someone take a normal one and dremel a wave into it though. is there anyone around here that could do one of those mods?

On an edc forum, the answer is always "both." ;-)

I would get both. That said I have a Delica and I gave away my Endura to a close friend. I have a PM2 to replace it. But this fall I want to buy a Dragonfly and a new FFG Endura for when I don't want to thrash my PM2. The very thin tip worries me sometimes.

I have a purple Endura that I use in the kitchen all the time. It is a great knife. It is not too huge when folded, but if I were to choose one or the other for pocket carry, I would pick up a Delica.

So... one more vote for both!!

Get Stretch, It's in the middle of Endura and Delica, but with better blade shape ;)

For me the Stretch's ergonomics are vastly superior to the Endura making the extra blade seem more controlled. It's a bit wider in pocket though than the Delica.

The Endura is quite a big knife for most folks. It's also about a quarter inch past the 3.5" carry limitations of many places which gives one more vote for the Stretch (3.5") or the Delica (2.875"). Still, if you dislike partial choils, want a slim package, and don't care about carry laws or are lucky to live in a less strict county the Endura is a fine candidate.

If you're undecided, save a bit more and get a Manix 2 XL.

It looks like a very nice knife.

I had a Manix2 XL and it felt HUGE compared to my Endura. I got rid of it, but I still love my regular Manix2s and Manix LW a bunch.

Checked out both at a semi-local shop. OK, not really semi, but it was in the same state! Delic 4 FFG in atomic blast orange. It felt the right size for me, plus I already have the larger blades covered with PM2 and Manix 2.

A zip tie does the job very nicely without permanently modding your blade. We call it the ghetto wave. I use it on all of my knives with a deployment hole.

I had the same quandary a couple months back. I wanted a knife that would feel good in my hand and I worried the Delica would be too small. I ended up with a brown Delica and couldn't be more happy. It's a perfect fit. I image the endura is huge...

Especially since I'm very fond of my Spyderco Stretch and the Glock 19.

I have a waved delica and a regular endura. I like them both, but the endura stays in my pocket more. Granted, I live in a rural area and most people carry a decent sized knife. Either way, they are both excellent knives.
