I was in the same predicament a while ago and ended up going with the Delica. I don't regret that decision.

If there's any way you can hold both in person, I'd recommend it. The Delica fits my hand way better, but others find the Dragonfly more comfortable.

I suggest the sprint run Delica ... the Super Blue (if you can still find it) or the ZDP-189. Also, you might want to check out the Spyderco Caly 3. Looks like dabluestuff has one in the top left of his pic.

What are your knife requirements ?
What environment do you find yourself using a knife and for what tasks ?
Are you a urban office type worker , or more industrial or rural ?
I've carried a Delica for awhile now and just love it , but recently bought a Dragonfly for those situations and occasions where a big knife isn't appreciated , I know the Delica isn't big , but to many non knife people it is the upper limit of acceptable .

    Dragonfly..

Just selling my Delica because I never carry it.

I have to admit: I have an office job and not much need for a big knife on me. A SAK gets me trough the day every day. When I'm out in the woods I take one of my fixed blades..

Delica is about right for me...;)

Dragonfly got sold because it was too small. If I can't effectively peel/slice a small fruit or vegetable, the knife is too small for me.

i will mainly be using it for edc. i like the smaller size if the delica but the dragonfly seems a bit too small.

I have both. My Delica is VG10, but they are available in ZDP 189 as well. My Dragonfly is in ZDP 189 and this steel has become my favorite. As far as slimness, they are both the same width. So it come down to blade length. I found that the Dragonfly length meets my needs almost all the time and it has become my EDC knife around town. When I am doing outdoors activities, I carry the Delica. If you want the longer blade, get the Delica. If you want an office friendly knife or one that you can carry around in a pair of gym shorts, get the Dragonfly. Either way you cannot really go wrong. Buy both and you can always sell one. Both knives have dedicated followings and you should have no trouble selling one if it ends up not meeting your needs.

I will always vote for the Dragonfly but there is nothing wrong with having both. I have several Delicas but about 30 Dragonfly knives.

The Dragonfly is a very secure knife in a 3-finger grip where as the Delica is a very secure knife in a 4-finger grip. I have small hands but both do quite well for me for the respective real estate they demand in your pocket.

IMHO, the Delica provides a more substantial product for not a ton more money. It's a Porsche Cayman to a Lotus Elise. If you are counting ounces the Elise is a winner but you do give up a bit of creature comforts for that.

    Delica.
I own one in ZDP 189 and it's one of my absolute favorite knives; light and thin enough to completely disappear in pocket, but large enough to fit just right even in my XL size hands.
While I don't own one, I have handled the Dragonfly multiple times and I've never liked the ergos. In all fairness to the Dragonfly, the size of my hands will always bias me towards larger knives. I seem to remember the tip being slightly thicker on the Dragonfly, but I may be wrong. YMMV
EDIT: Just re-read your post; the Kershaw Skyline may also be worth a look if price is at all a factor. My Skyline was another one of my faves before I gave it to the girlfriend.
