I have not used this product myself, but I'd expect neither the materials nor the quality of workmanship would be on par with Leatherman. That said, as long as they cut as well as a $7 pair of cheap trauma shears, I suppose the remaining money can be justified by the folding mechanism and additional gizmos. Probably wouldn't try cutting a penny with them though.
