Made some cutouts for the back spacer for future glow epoxy. When I put them on the Skyline, I noticed they were a little uneven in regards to width to each other. I can fix that in a couple of minutes later, though. Still have to convince myself to buy some glow powder. I've always wanted to play with some.

If you do this Q, set up a vacuum next to the work to keep the dust down. The dust from G10 isn't good for your lungs or the little one's. I wear a dust mask at minimum when I play with stuff like this. G10, micarta, corian, bone, antler, acrylics and dymondwood. Even the stabilized woods.

I need to get a Persistance or G10 Dragonfly and try my hand at scales. I have used Corian for fixed blades and it works quite well. Used rubber mats for them, too. That is a grippy handle when you use rubber matting.

Glow powder is a blast. Put some around the bulb of a LED converted Maglite. The glow is able to be focused with the reflector. Set it in some epoxy under a Victorinox SAK shield in a set of walnut handles on a Deluxe TInker that decided it was time to move on (means I lost it.)

I haven't made any scales for a while now, but finally got around to making one for my Cryo.

I removed the assisted opener. Now it's just a flipper. I wasn't up for trying to deal with all that;).

Ahh, do you just remove the tensor bar or would one have to modify the knife a bit?

I just removed it. I may need to add an extra washer on the scale side to help center the blade a bit.

Is it bad to be reading the threads here and having USA knifemakers site open looking at G10? That hunter orange/toxic green keeps drawing me to it.
