My Leatherman Juice has decided it doesn't want to open and close easily. Has anyone else experienced this? Did you come up with a solution?

    TIA

Is there any reason not to send it back for warranty service?

None, whatsoever. I didn't realize they had such a great warranty. Thanks.

My experience with LM Warranty service has been very good. I got one tool new (a MUT) that was not up to standard, and they replaced it. On the keyring side, I've broken two tools through abuse, and had a couple more with scissors malfunctions, all replaced without any drama. In each case I got the replacement back a week after I mailed in the one I was sending in (I used Priority Mail, YMMV).

I had a Sideclip (looooong discontinued) that one day became difficult to open/close. No idea why, no obvious damage to the pivot. A thorough cleaning did nothing. Sent it into LM for repair, received a working Sideclip in exchange. I only wish I had marked the parts in some way before sending it off so I had some idea of what they did to "fix" it. The pliers part was definitely not new, I just don't know if it was the same one I sent in or not.
