I keep Poweraid mix in a tube vault in my backpack and one in a FAK in the car. Good for 16 oz. of Poweraid!

I like those EZ Towels. Good find.

I'm 99% sure the ones County Comm sells, at least, are actually 2 liter soda bottle "blanks" or "pre-forms". They get heated and then inflated inside a mold to form a typical bottle, like Coke/Pepsi. If you need extra caps, just take one from the next bottle of soda you drink.

I think he wants new caps with unbroken seals.

Personally, I have a few County Comm preforms that I use on camping trips to hold my salt and spices. I've also used one to hide some emergency cash.

    I think you're right.

Do a Google search for "Bottle Preforms and Caps" and you'll find a lot of resources, including new caps with unbroken seals.

Right off the top, I found this page...http://www.teachersource.com/Chemistry/PreformsAndSodaBottles/SodaBottlePreformsandCaps_30pk.aspx The jars are smaller (1 oz compared to 2 oz), but aside from volume, they look like the same thing.

    From County Comm...
A little more looking around found a fair variety of sizes from different suppliers, and several of them said "Uses soda bottle caps."

*EDIT* Here's one that looks to be the same size as the CC version.
...and at $9.99 for 15 bottles, it's a hell of a lot better deal!

*EDIT 2* Doh! :brickwall: I see Towanda already linked to those at the top of the thread. Never mind; this is old news. :-[

    Foam ear plugs
    Fire starter
    Generic ant acids
Hot sauce with a drink nozzle lid exchange
I've debated ear buds but haven't tried that yet. probably hard to get out.

    Scholar's Choice Baby Soda Bottles

$24.99 for what looks like 14 or 15 tubes...

Thanks to a suggestion by GriffinHawks, my EDC pack's clear, water tight vial needs are now covered by a re-purposed Red Bull Power Shot tube.
I am working on making it a detachable, small suvival kit , with some special trick features, and will report back when I'm completed.

Similar to Polygeist, I carry Gatorade powder in mine. I like it watered down so it's a perfect amount for my 1 qt. Nalgene. I've also carried CR123s in mine. I tried ear buds, but the set I have wouldn't even squeeze through the opening.
