Has anyone adjusted their daily carry related to COVID 19 or built new kit for it? Now that I am WFH I'm not carrying my laptop bag so I built a small pocket kit with some essentials for when I actually leave the house.
Enjoying my usual Vertx Tourist setup. I've doubled down on the gloves and sanitizer of course. Dad life has made disinfecting wipes standard faire in the EDC bag. I've also added a backup 24 round mag since the taking of this photo. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
Might even be able to get the wife to carry a few more items. Shes a nurse so she gets to see this crazy crap all day. People steal the supplies as fast as they can. Even tp from the bathrooms. Its insane..
Switched to this Vertx bag because I can wipe it down when I return home. I don’t like to do that with my leather bags. Because I was social distancing at home alone and whistling Bulletproof, I bought an armor plate for the bag so that’s coronacarry I suppose. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
How's everyone fairing on grocery shopping? Looks like a war zone in some stores around here. I watched people swarm a store clerk while he was stocking shelves. Lil ol'lady took a whole box of butter off his cart and b-lined for the checkout..lol. my wife was in shock.
No real issues so far. I have taken advantage of the "senior shopping" hours some groceries are running, where people over 60 (which includes me) are allowed in during the first hour of shopping. No risk of starvation from what I can tell.
Good to hear. Yesterday the wife and I went to the butcher and loaded one of her patients freezer with meat. Older folks, wife has issues and husband cant leave her alone to get to stores early. They are well stocked now.
Now might be a good time to remind people of the old trick of using a Kinder Egg capsule as a hard case for a pair of nitrile gloves...
Apologies, I should have included that in the original post. Kinder Eggs / Kinder Surprise are chocolate eggs. Inside them is a capsule like the one pictured above. Inside that is a little plastic toy. The US don't allow candy with toys inside for some reason, so they're not available there. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kinder_Surprise
Yeah, remember the stupid reg in the US and the non kinder eggs we have here. Medicine bottles work better IMHO. The easter eggs I've seen lately have cheapened up and pop open if you look at them wrong.
