I've been trying to find good quality, copper split rings to replace the 10mm and 12mm split rings on my keychain, but every time I think I have found some, I order them and they end up being thin, flimsy junk that I don't trust to hold my keys and tools. I think maybe people are making jewelry with it or something, but anyway does anybody know where I can get some smaller, copper split rings that are made of a decent gauge material?
You might want to shop around on Etsy where you can either ask about the specific gauge of the split rings or in the case of some of the sellers request which gauge wire you want the split rings made out of. ATB, Sam
Check out Corter Leather. They make some nice split rings in copper and pewter I believe. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
I would think copper would be to soft. Maybe not I'm just thinking out loud. Ever considered getting a heavy gauge wire like romex and bending it in a circle and horseshoeingeach end and clamping them to one another?
