I have been looking - with no success- for a keychain sized folder, maybe 3" overall with copper scales to match my copper Maratac AA flashlight. My metal working skills are not up to replacing the scales on something like a small SAK, but that's kind of what I would love to find. Seems like there should be one out there. Any suggestions?

I went through that search a while back, I ended up settling on brass, which was still hard to find.

Yeah, found a few really cheap looking brass folders on line, but nothing I'd want to carry. Ever.

My search was for the same reasons as yours, trying to match knives with my copper gear.
This is what I ended up getting, was a while back though.

I have a couple of Swiss Bianco SAK's with copper colored anodized scales...a Vagabond (probably the size you are looking for) and a Bushcrafter. I bought them from Swiss Bianco at Blade Show a couple of years ago. I don't see any copper scaled models on his website now, but you might try emailing him to see if there are any plans to produce more.

Usually when you e-mail him he replies with a snarky comment about how no one would ever buy that. Lol. He's kinda flaky.

    I have those but that's not a keychain-sized knife!

OK, I have decided to do it myself! Bought a small piece of 16 ga. copper, using the existing scales as a guide and a Skill saw, I roughed out scales for an older SAK. I now have some shinny copper pieces. Tomorrow I start drilling!
