We went cheap on Christmas gifts this year. But only for people we know. We spent more on Toys for Tots, a local food bank, the Humane Society, and the NRA-ILA than we did all the people we actually know. I feel good about it. I just hope no one gives me anything expensive and makes me feel bad about it. I really don't want anything for me but socks. Now, they're fairly expensive socks...but still just socks.
i did a whole series of edcf star wars related pictures in my thread, some are even using them as their avatars
I am currently procrastinating on going job hunting. I have a job but kinda sucks, but job hunting sucks even worse.
I have not owned a Swiss army knife since I broke one in the 1980's and bought my first leatherman. I know it's Sacrilege and is like the forum go to knife, but I just haven't looked back. I will get the opportunity to try one again now. Thanks to jjhmachine!
I dropped 20lbs of Dog Food really early this morning in the clearing where the Dog Hunters drop their dogs... Needless to say.. those dogs didn't hunt today..
I failed to help the economy by purchasing eggnog from the store this past Christmas season. I didn't mean to. I wanted some, but for whatever reason, I didn't do any grocery shopping. The rest of the family did, but I failed to have them buy some. I now have a craving for some and nobody is selling any.
That would be my choice. Pretty much all you need are eggs, milk, sugar, cream, oh, and bourbon. Or rum, or cognac...
There is a new knife on my doorstep at home and I am thinking about suddenly "becoming sick", just so I can go play with it!! LOL
I had a moment of panic this morning. I found out my new knife was at the Post Office. And my wife is home sick. But she's going to the clinic at some point today. Across from the Post Office. And she doesn't know about my new knife. And she doesn't need to know about my new knife. In fact, it would be best for all parties if she did not know about my new knife. I managed to get to the post office before her, though. Crisis averted.
