    Hi EDCF-- This is first notice about my imminent KickStarter campaign for the GambleMade UltraLink. If you like what you see here give me a follow and stay tuned for an upcoming EDCF exclusive giveaway, and the launch announcement itself.

    The UltraLink will be live on KickStarter starting @10:00 AM EDT, Monday, Oct. 15, 2018 through Thursday, Nov. 15, 2018 @9pm EDT. (The launch date is subject to change.)

    For immediate release:

    The UltraLink is a quick release belt clip for Everyday Carry. Made from premium materials such as Titanium and Aerospace Grade Aluminum, the UltraLink brings space era metallurgy to civilian consumers in the form of a personal accessory that is simple and secure. The UltraLink consists of two parts; the “Carriage” and the “Spring Clip”. To use, simply attach your keys or favorite piece of gear to the Spring Clip with a split ring, insert the Spring Clip into the Carriage and then attach the whole assembly to your belt by way of the integral clip. A “Spur” on the Belt Clip prevents the unit from slipping off unintentionally while the Spring Clip is removed and replaced as needed.

    The UltraLink was designed to appeal to fans of sci-fi inspired industrial design and tactical accessories. It enables effortless one handed use and provides a choice of 8 available phosphorescent inserts which under the right conditions, can act as locators for the detached clip portion of the larger assembly when it’s otherwise too dark to see.

    The UltraLink is a premium accessory. It is designed, produced and manufactured in small batches in Beacon, New York.

    Available Models:

    "Standard":
    Carriage: 7075T61 Aluminum and Grade 2 Titanium

    Looks nice, heavy even. What keeps the phosphorescent doodad from popping out? Glued in?

    Thanks, so far they are press fit but the discs are cut from cast rods and they do vary unpredictably by a few fractions so in the end they will probably be glued if necessary or press fit where tolerances allow. Im also thinking of a naked option, and maybe mokume or timascus :)

    Very interesting. Is the clip and retention "spur" spaced correctly to play nice with MOLLE webbing? I like to attach my keys to my bag at work so I don't forget them.

    I'll be watching this closely. This is something that I've been looking for but couldn't place into words.

    Yes though the spacing is set for belts up to 1.75” wide and 5/32 thick, much thicker than molle webbing. So it’ll move around but slipping off won’t be a problem. I often do the same thing with my PFII. Carry the keys when in transit and then attach to bag while at work. Thanks.
