I don't know, I'm not a specialist. I only prepared the knife. A friend of mine has a paint and coating shop, he did the coating and he called it micro powdercoating.

    A - Love the theme.
B - Love the Buck. Still very tempted especially after handling one at a local shop.
C - You might have pushed me over the edge. I might need to run out during lunch to see about picking up a Hydro flask for coffee. My old $3 Bubba-Keg is showing its age and the Yei Ramblers are nowhere to be found right now.

Sticking with the theme, even if it is a crappy desk shot.

01 Tool steel is the theme here. :D

I'm getting better at frothing, but I'm nowhere near ready to become a barista.

    Glad you like!
    B) The Buck is AWESOME but required slight modification to be perfect for me. I had to bend the clip so it would rest on the flat part of the scale and not the jibbed part because it was impossible to clip and unclip before. It's perfect now. I also added a slight notch where the blade rests against the strap lock when closed so that it wouldn't open so easily. This second mod had the fringe benefit of making it fly open even better after the slight tension is overcome.
    C) LOVE my Hydroflask(s) and if it's just for coffee, I'd highly suggest this over a Rambler (I have both). This keeps coffee hotter for longer because it's airtight. Looks WAY better in my opinion as well. I use the rambler for hot cocoa, sodas, and water primarily.

Thanks for the insight! I might have to go on a mission for a blue one very soon.

.... AND they didn't have a blue 18 oz in stock nor online. Actually, they didn't have any 18 oz bottles in stock. :nah_disagree:

18oz is hard to find, I think on the website they're only under "water" and not "coffee" or maybe the other way around...

I've actually had a tremendously difficult time finding specific sizes/mouth types in certain colors. I've almost always had to settle for either the size, mouth type, or color not being the way I wanted. Not sure why that is...

I found the 20 oz online. I'm tempted to just pull the trigger on that, but I'm not sure if it will be fatter rather than taller than the 18 oz.
I think that patience will be useful here. It doesn't help that I left my old Bubba Keg at work this evening.

    I have a 16oz, 18oz, 20oz, and 24oz; they're all the same diameter. You're good to go!

Went for something small and simple today. No heavy duty tasks, just pruning plants indoors. :) Outside there is....eh, snow!

I generally use it like a small pocket knife... And for tiny bushcraft work.

Split a rick of wood with it once.... Dern near killed me.

New light. Old knife. Long day, making dinner and need to be caffeinated desperately.
