I have an Ares Ranger belt with a cobra quick release buckle. I really like it a lot, I've used it for years with no issues. I'm considering another, but I see Ares offers a new version with a frame buckle instead of the quick release.

I can't find anything online showing how the Frame buckle actually works. Can anyone help explain? Does it keep as good as a cobra quick release?

I guess you have to loop the belt all the way through every single time you put it on. Ill stick to my quick-release ;)

No quick release the buckle has two holes.
    1. A plain hole
    2. A hole with a sliding bar in it.

The buckle is permanently attached to the belt by one end being passed through the plain hole, folded back on itself and then sewn, so that it looks like this:

Then it works like a really beefy slider buckle.
