An LEO friend of mine turned me on to it. It's become my favorite method of carry.

Had one on a Kimber for a while. I never carried with it, I just had it on there for an emergency situation (the gun was carried in a briefcase).

For me, the clip needs to be wider and stronger.

In NPE it would be a good idea if you need to toss the gun, but a holster is a much better option.

If you ever get into a fight for the gun, you will know why.

I feel it's just to insecure...and gives away the profile too easily..

I had one on a Kahr P40 that I sold to my dad. I love the ease of stuffing it in my pants to go to the store or whatever. It is now his EDC gun. I have been toying with the idea for my J-frame and just haven't done it yet.

I put a pocket clip on my Kel-Tex P3AT and thought it was a great idea. How easy would it be to just clip to your waist and go, but for some reason I can't get over the safety factor of carrying a DAO pistol that's not in a holster. Wonder if something got caught on my pants, or change in my pocket, or whatever. I did try it a few times and it worked, but It still just made me nervous. So now it either rides in a Galco Cop ankle holster or a DeSantis Nemisis pocket holster. Both work very well with the Kel-Tec and my little Beretta Bobcat .22.

have read a lot of good things about it from those that took the plunge and tried it for their EDC, usually for smaller revolvers

I have a clipdraw for my Kel-Tec P32. Great concealment, fast, and pretty comfortable. A belt covers most of the clip, and if you are not covering your waistband with an untucked or bloused shirt, it looks like the clip to a small knife.

I haven't tried a clipdraw yet, but I am a big fan of the Barami HipGrip on J-frame revolvers.

    Take care,

I use one every day on my S&W 60. I use the universal one because it lets you position the clip so the gun rides lower. I wouldn't try it on a semi-auto, though.

Iam using clipdraws on my PT111 and PT140 Taurus Millenniums. They are great for carrying these compact guns. I often carry both of them this way at the same time. One strongside and the other crossdraw.

I'm not a big fan of them. They provide no protection for the weapon, unlike a holster. At least with a holster, the weapon stays cleaner.

I have one on my Glock 30. I can pocket carry with clip on outside of pocket when I hike or conceal around my waist. My G30 is a beater of a gun so I don't care about 'protecting' the gun. The only reason I clean it is so that it goes 'bang' when necessary.
