Dumb question. I have a ZT0300 and one other blade I want to reverse the clip or upgrade them. I read the ZT website page and most of theirs call for T6 or T8 torx. I also have heard horror stories of people stripping out the tiny screws.
    - Any recommended proper quality torx tools to get the job done?
    - Any recommended technique to prevent stripping?
    - Haven't googled or YT'd it yet, but what to do if you do strip it?
Sure would go nuts if I dorked up my ZT as example....

I haven't done it on a knife but the generall thing would be to get a pair if good drivers, not the cheapest and then heat them up a bit if they have threadlock and go slow

[It's not failure if you learn something from it]

Found a tool/kit at home depot with the small torx heads I was missing. Finally got my ZT0300 clip reversed and tip up.....nothing to it. Now its time for an upgraded clip I think....

A good driver. No, I mean a GOOD driver. Don’t skimp here. And if I’m not sure if there is Loctite in action, I submerge the part of the knife in boiling water for a while. Never striped a screw.

My problem was getting the screws back into my Spyderco Para 3 when upgrading to a deep carry clip. They just didn’t want to seat correctly and I was afraid of cross threading. That would be a real pain. They finally went in straight after some fiddling

My favorite knife disassembly driver is the Leatherman bit kit. It has less of a tendency to spin and round off then other drivers in my experience
