As an impulse buy while in Radio Shack, I picked up an ICON Rogue. Wanted to see what a non-Surefire light designed by Paul Kim could do.

I decided to get the following 3 items on Christmas Day, but still consider them Christmas gifts since I'll be using my Christmas money to purchase them:

Lightly used, single-stage, E2DL head (to upgrade my old, non-LED, E2D)
Peak Eiger 2AAA Pen light (Possibly the best single-stage pen light ever made)
Fred Perrin pen (It looks stylish)

I asked for a Spyderco Persistence and I got it! But no one got me the Surefire E1B Backup so I will be getting that myself.

That getaway driver seems pretty sleek. do you know if there's any way to customize it to hold other bit types like torx?

I purchased a new compass for myself. It is the Cammenga 27 phosphorescent military compass.

Hey Warfist that looks like a nice score. How do you like that 5.11 bag?

its great i love it! i was wanting a maxpedition jumbo versi pack since those have that coating that is supposed to prevent grime/stains and so on. but the money didnt permit! so i got the 511 and i think i actually like it better. the maxpuds are made of 1000d nylon where the 511 is 1050d nylon so it has a better thread count i guess i should say? hahaha but i love it and the color on the 511 stuff is darker than the maxpuds! i would recommend anyone interested in the 511 push pack to go ahead and order one!

Maxpedition Dual Mag insert for my Jumbo. Although my spare magazines don't move around much, I wanted them to be completely secure. $10 + free shipping! Can't beat that! Shipped today; should be here by the end of this week or the beginning of next.

Just before Christmas I got myself a Cold Steel Ti-Lite. The discontinued model with the blue anodized titanium handles. It was on my christmas list but a real steal came up on eBay so I jumped early. Most of the family did christmas a week early since everybody but me was traveling to see other relatives for christmas day itself. Although my haul was pretty good, I treated myself to a 47" LCD TV. But it's half a christmas gift and half an early tax refund item. If I've estimated wrong on the taxes, money could get pretty tight in a couple months.

An Asus EEE 901 - a very portable netbook with a (albeit small) SSD.
Since buying a notebook, even a cheap one, from the knife&toy budget tends to bite deep, the Xmas knife was a Cold Steel Kudu. Haven't had a new navaja-style for years.
