I should mention that if it was possible for my old hands to properly handle a BK-7 to open Christmas packages I would use it.......but my 4 year old Yorkie and wife/son are not as open minded about this idea as I am.

Had to break down some Amazon boxes today.....broke out the LMF II for the task. Not exactly EDC but so fun to tackle boxes with that beast.

Zero Tolerance 0566 for the cardboard boxes that things are shipped in. Probably a Case Peanut or Victorinox Cadet for smaller things. Maybe a Vic Farmer - just depends on what is handy when something needs opening or cutting.

    I'm joking!!

However, joking aside, Christmas, certainly in the UK has become an exercise in commerical blackmail, so whe I am asked what Imwant for Christmas the answer is usually "nothing!"

Victorinox spirit - serrated butter blade is good for twine and what not, plus has a small Phillips and flat blade for accessing battery compartments on the kids toys!

Xmas Eve: Dragonfly 2 HAP 40. We do Xmas Eve with my wife's mother/stepfather, and my wife's sister. My MIL gave me a gift certificate last year that helped buy this knife, so it's my Xmas Eve knife now.
Xmas Day: Delica HAP40. This knife was a surprise on Xmas Day last year from my wife, so now it's the Xmas Day knife.
