Milwaukee M12 3/8s ratchet, 2 spare batteries, vehicle charger and a whole bunch of stuff for the Jeep.

I've gotta say, while the M12 isnt as powerful as my pneumatic stuff, the convenience of not having to deal with a hose more than makes up for it.
I may actually need to get the m18 1/2" impact, now that I see just how much of a pleasure the ratchet is to work with.

my family was generous enough to send cash so i could pick up whatever i want/need at my convenience. here's what is already purchased and incoming
    • brightly colored socks and comfy undies. useful tools in covering my assets and keeping a smile on my face.
    • replacement ipad. my old one broke when a corner of the screen was gently bumped by the pointy corner of a nail clipper.
    • spyderco sharpmaker and some extra-fine grit stones - my kitchen knives needed some help.
    • chaves knives redencion 228 midtech. i ordered this back in september, but leftover holiday gift money is going towards that
    • the james brand chapter knife. itty bitty titanium framelock. lovely design but too itty bitty for me to comfortably use. gonna see if i can return it, and if not it will go up in my BST thread so it can find a good home with someone who likes itty bitty blades.

Hello Cerebus, hope it goes well with my fellow SAFFA! Could you please find out where your wife obtained the Maxpedition stuff? I know of Sharpedge in Sandton City, but thier stock is a bit on the "thin" side. I am specifically after a Maxpedition Fatty.

    Dankie, en groete.

Meneer gaan goed dankie, kannie klaar nie.

The maxped stuff I actually bought off a forum buy on another forum, she just paid for it. Good gear like that is hens teeth in SA. Even the Condor stuff (Which in comparison to the maxpedition stuff I bought) is very average. Seen better made stuff locally to be honest.

If you got the money take a look at GI Combat supplies, they're from Western Cape and stock a lot of stuff, just beware their service is about a 6/10.

Got me a pair of truespec pants too. A black pair for work. I wear them a lot outside of work, most comfortable and useful pants I've found. I use one of the knife pockets to carry my ecig. In the process of replacing all of my pants with them. Only will keep a pair of dress pants and a pair of convertible pants.

We only "did Xmas" yesterday what with one thing and another but I claimed a pretty good haul. I bought someone a thruNite tn12 - man that's bright. A small part of me wished I kept it and gave book tokens instead;) It was well received though. I also wish I was given a modicum of photographic talent - not even the "done on a phone" excuse really cuts it.

Despite awful wire cutters, the wingman looks a winner for home office use - the package opener tool took no prisoners!!

I got a MSR Microrocket, Keen Targhee II low shoes and a hunting Dog (english setter pup) to replace my German Shorthair that had to be put down in February 2014. So it was a fun Christmas.
