Ya not too far at all. I was out there last summer, had dinner at a place called City Tropics Bistro. It was nice, the food was pretty good too! Sent from my SGH-I317 using Tapatalk 2
I used to go watch the Mets play at wide world of sports until I had a bad experience there. Haven't been in about 2 years now. Sent from my SGH-I317 using Tapatalk 2
The Yankees, Orioles, Rangers, Braves & Expos used to all have training facilities in south east Florida in the 80s. Now they're all gone. If I want to see spring training I have to drive an hour north...that's too far for games that don't even count.
We have the Astros about 10 mins from where I live, they play the Mets on the 20th... thinking about taking the family to watch it. Only problem is I'm spending what little extra cash I have on knives! lol Sent from my SGH-I317 using Tapatalk 2
I took my dad to see the Marlins & Cardinals 2 years ago and aside from the longish ride the price was very steep...as expensive as a regular season game. Those games used to be reasonably priced.
ya, even the Astros prices for that game on the 20th are in the regular season nose bleed section range. Luckily for me the Marlins suck and no one likes watching them so if I ever wanna catch a Mets game there it would be fairly cheap
Welcome to the forums! I apologize for the late welcome, but here it is any way. Used to live in Pensacola for a short time of my life with a cousin. Fun times. Cheers!
Thanks, and no worries! I lived not too far from there, in Tallahassee, for almost a year a long time ago. Crazy times..lol
