Mine aren't so little: I have two in high school and one in middle school...I'm constantly driving to softball games, lacrosse, practices, clubs etc.
Roger that! I'm happy about it but it's my wife who's the main motivator... she was born and raised on an island (Vancouver Island). I'm hoping that somewhere I'll be able to find a dog friendly beach and a beach to drive/camp on! I love Freeman park here in NC!
You might be able to find one in the Tampa area, haven't been there in years though..not sure if things have changed. I've always wanted to visit NC..check out the mountains and waterfalls..all that wilderness! Looks like a fun place to live...if you're into the outdoors anyway.
Since we're showing beach pics; here's Bathtub beach in Martin County: http://www.martin.fl.us/portal/page?_pageid=354,3437495&_dad=portal&_schema=PORTAL&park_id=251
This is a picture of the reef at the place I went to..really nice spot. IMG_2268 by eramos2417, on Flickr
Sweet! I can't wait to check it all out in a few weeks. NC has it's good points. Ashville, beaches, Outer banks, etc. It's just so far apart and everything in between isn't so great. Especially living in Fayetteville... BARF! OH, and the worst thing... how cold it gets in the winter! I don't really have any problem with cold, it just better come with snow, mountains and snow boarding!!!
I lived in St. Pete for 20 years before moving to Canada in 2006. I miss it pretty bad at times. Sent by Owl Post
I was dating someone that lived in Stuart, got to go there, that small aquarium place with the stingrays, and I think it was called Jensen Beach? Nice area, nice beaches. Sent from my SGH-I317 using Tapatalk 2
That sounds a lot like central Florida! Having to drive forever to go anywhere really sucks. I did wanna take the kids up there in the winter time for that exact reason.... to see (and play in!) the snow Sent from my SGH-I317 using Tapatalk 2
