    Hey guys,
    This is actually my first thread on this site but figured it would be the place to go for some suggestions to hopefully find what I'm looking for. Just kind of getting into some nicer EDC gear and would like to find a pen I could carry at work.

    So, like the title says I'm looking for a good quality EDC pen and have been on a carbon fiber kick lately so would love if I could find something to match the rest of my CF EDC gear.
    I like the Pilot G2 pens dimension wise and the gel ink they have but that's not a must. I dislike overly thick pens. I would love to find something with a deep carry clip as well so there is not a lot of pen sticking out of my pocket.

    Eager to hear any suggestions y'all might have and thanks for looking!

    - David

    Here is what I am carrying right now.

    You didn't mention the amount you have in mind to spend for... There are CF pens, out on the market, from a dozen dollars (Terzetti) to over 4500 (Grayson).
    What's your target ?

    Good point, I kinda forgot about that. Don't have a hard limit in mind for what I'm willing to spend. Would like to find something for under $100 but if I find something I really like I can see spending a bit more than that.

    Check these two:
    Cross Sheaffer Intensity fiber carbon rollerball pen;
    Corum ballpoint carbon fiber pen;
    both around $100
    and also this one, if you're intended to spend more:
    Montblanc 109363 Starwalker carbon fiber ballpoint pen.
    Hope this helps !

    Tombow Zoom 101. Real Carbon fibre barrels. I have the ballpen and the rollerball. Extremely stylish and extremely light. Quite quirky with a step on the grip that may not suit all.

    Thank you all for the replies and suggestions. After looking through them I have decided that I want something without a cap that I can operate one-handed. Ideally this would be a bolt action so that there is not a clicker sticking out the top of my pocket.

    Boker Plus K.I.D. CAL .50 Carbon Fiber Tactical Pen
    Maybe a little thick, but half of your limit.

    Try this ... "Tactical 30 caliber mini bolt action bullet sniper carbon fiber pen" and then replace the ink cartridge with a Schmidt pressurised refill.

    Thank you all for the great suggestions. Ultimately I wasn't able to find a CF pen that met my criteria. In the end though I decided to go with a maxmadco titanium bolt action pen and it has been great! Everyone who touches it is impressed and ends up asking about it. Well worth the money.
