Anyone ever put Cerakote on a revolver and if so, what was the outcome. Does it last or is there a better way. I've got a S&W 637 that I want to have coated in graphite black and blue Ti. Any suggestions or comments? Thanks in advance.

I've never seen a revo Cerakoted, but I do have an LWRC M6A2 done in Patriot Brown Cerakote and that stuff is very durable. I think the biggest part of having a good outcome is the prep on the firearm.

I don't see why it wouldn't work. I'd send it to Jeff at 4Bush, and go for it. Autos come out great, and they have a lot more friction areas than a revo.

I'd love to pick up a S&W model 60 with a 3" barrell and do either burnt bronze or a matte dark OD green cerakote.
I sent my XD45 slide to jeff4bush who did an amazing job with a nice burnt bronze finish.
He did my key fob and wallet in the same color. My keyfob gets the crap beat out of it and I'm completely surprised at how tough cerakote is! Considering the amount of times it's been dropped, fell out of my pocket and skidded across the concrete, and thrown in various pockets with other metal objects, the cerakote has held up remarkably well...likely much better than HAIII would have.

B'rer Jeff roxxx hard! And THIS is the key, to why his work lasts:

There are a lot of so-called Cerakoters out there.
    Piss poor results.

Just sent an email to J4B on his website. I could not find him here for some reason. I also noticed that he had a link to a few other forums and not ours. Huh...... Is he still around the forums?

I am still here.....I have done many a Revolver. They are fun to do and come out great. Two tone revolvers are the best in my opinion. Frame and cylinder different color really looks nice in my opinion.

Cerakote goes on very thin and with the proper prep work (which is most of the work) Cerakote can and will last a very long time.

Found this when I was looking for info for my stainless Taurus. Thinking about getting it bead blasted but then I considered cerakote. I don't like shiny things. How did this work out, I wonder?

Go to Jeff's website and check out his fine work.
    4bushweaponsrefinishingsystems.

I have several pieces he has customized for me, starting over 3 years ago, which i have used and abused and beat mortal Hell out of.
Every time I show 'em off, I marvel at good how they still look.
