    I thought you called it herding…? Don't you have a sheepdog to round up all the snakes and spiders and such into a tank? Maybe I'm getting confused.

    I'm not actually sure what it's supposed to be for. It's just handy to keep them separate like that or they get tangled and caught up in each other. My keys hang in there tucked in my pocket and the work keys I need to hand often so hang freely outside my pocket.

    I think it's for converting a two-point rifle sling to a single-point rifle sling, but I doubt you'll ever need it for that purpose ;)

    It's actually a HK clip. Designed by Heckler & Koch. Used on the slings on the MP5 family of Sub guns. You put the open end of a second clip through the hole. Making a continuous loop, or shortening the sling for an MP5K

    Dorian AFAIK this is a HK MP5, but only with single fire? I never shot a real gun so far, so I’m no expert. Because they’re hard to get and expensive here, I’ll probably never will own one, even if I had any interest. But I read the MP5 article in WP today. ;)
