As a construction guy. I will pick Carhartt all every time. The pants fit much better, more room in the legs. Work pants are of a heavier construction. Jackets are the same. Professional quality every time. There we go. First post and I already sound like a fanboy.

    Peace

    My Choice

Carhartt T-shirts, henleys and zipped hoodies. I wear them everywhere.

I'm a carhartt guy. You can get good deals here and there....but I can say that every piece of gear I have has lasted forever and they're my first choice for weekend wear.

Carhartt all the way. I'm 6'3',225lbs, long arms too and their XL-tall sizes fit me perfectly. I own about 8 of their hoodies, a jacket and a hooded vest. They wear like IRON and are worth the extra $ for the quality.

I have a selection of 'work-worn' Carhartt pants and a coat. However, recently I broke with my norm and tried Duluth Trading Company.
I am very happy with the two pairs of work pants. I also picked up a couple pairs of their jeans, too. I'm not quite to Fan Boy affection for their stuff yet but I'm slowly getting there. Might be worth checking out for those of you who like some variation to your work wear.
    The warranty is unbeatable, too!

CARHARTT!!! Everything but my shoes and hats are Carhartt. I love that when you get a snag on them that's how it stays, they don't keep ripping like other shirts. They fade to the point you can't wear them for good before they tear.

Carhartt. Better fit. Seems like more options too.

Carhartt for outwear (jacket/pants), Dickies for shirts.
