Alan Folts made it for me.
My EDC is some model Leatherman, usually a Charge or Juice CS4, paired with a Vic Rambler. When carrying a Core, though, I prefer matching it with a Micra for the larger scissors.
Cheap Credit Card Style Multi Tool
Fake LM Micra
I am actually down a few from the last time I checked...
1 - Leatherman Surge in a belt pouch
2 - Victorinox Yeoman in my pocket
3 - SOG CrossGrip on my keychain
I don't feel that bad about my three now. - Custom Ti Tool by RWClark, Victorinox Manager, Leatherman Wave (original).
One on my Vic Farmer Alox.
1 on my leatherman Charge Ti
1 on my Leatherman Micra
1 on my corkscrew
1 bottle opener
1 on my finger in the form of a ring thing.
I guess that last 3 were cheating since that is my work (bartending) loadout
I carry one, but it's part of my leatherman tool. not used much, but it's there if needed.
I've given up carrying a dedicated cap lifter because there's sooo many ways to open a beer. My son taught me how to use my Bic lighter, a tightly rolled up dollar bill, or even a car key. I've also used the little screwdriver tip on the nailfile blade of my sak classic to loosen the crimps on the cap so it can be pushed off with a thumb.
've actually cut way back on the amount of carried edc stuff by using the few items I carry to improvise and overcome. I like lightening my pockets as I get older. Now I understand how my dad got by with a Case peanut, a sears 4-way screwdriver on his keyring along with a P-38 can opener.
at least 1, the one attached to the SAK in the picture. We made these and modeled after the rounded one in the picture i made in 97 or 98. The new ones are made in Ti.
Along with that one, its either a gerber curve, SAK, or other random thing to help me sooth the thirst with a frosty beverage.
I usually just carry my LM Micra and my Boker Keycom on my person everyday. The LM Micra has the bottle opener but I am sure the keycom could pry a cap or two.
Usually one, on my Leatherman Super. 2 if I'm carrying a Makarov instead of the PA63.
I find that the Skeletool opener works quite well.
I have a pair of reef flip flops and each one has a bottle opener on the bottom, my belt buckle has a bottle opener on it, I have a key chain in the shape of a snowboard that is a bottle opener, and there is one on my Leatherman so i guess I guess i have 5 on me
I generally carry two; one on my Victorinox Rescue Knife and one on my Victorinox mini-knife. However, at times it can rise to four if I happen to have my SwissTool plus or one or other tool. Cap lifters seem to be standard issue on many pocket tools so don't feel to wierd if you suddenly realise that you have a huge number on you.
Unless you're in a REALLY gun friendly country, @ home, or @ a range (alcohol + Guns = trouble) things might not turn out so good for you.
one dedicated cap lifter on my keychain and one on my leatherman
Counting 3 on my EDC Two at the Keychain a pry bar, a micra and one at the Tool in my belt but considering that almost everything can be used as a Cap lifter I don´t carry them on purpose! Then the number would be 5+ Flaslight, Uzi pen, Noticebook etc
I have a utilikey and a mini prybaby on the key ring so thats two. Although I can open a bottle with most things these days so there is always something to hand.
I can even remember the last time I needed one. Everything is screw off now.
