Hello guys, I'm wondering if any of you know where I could find a Nissan Titanium vacuum bottle. A few years ago it was introduced and I read a few reports on it but I can't seem to find any shop that still caries it. Does one of you know if these are still made/sold somewhere? Hi, Piet! I noticed and took a look at one in a Starbucks in Las Vegas (sounds funny to say, since I never drink coffee nor gamble), last Summer. They look like they could be pretty useful. I don't know whether they are still made. Perhaps someone who drinks coffee at Starbucks can check if they still sell them? Mike
Mike, Thanks, I guess I should have looked better then as my wife and I were in Las Vegas last year September for 3 days and we visited Star Bucks on the strip a few times (near the Coca Cola "bottle") and I didn't see it I searched with Google like mad but the sparce instances I find it it's all from 2001/2002 and no one seems to carry it anymore. You might keep a look out on ebay for one. I haven't seen them anywhere for a while, and with a $170 retail price for a Thermos, even if it is titanium, the price is still pretty steep.
Stormdrane, $ 170 I thought they were going for around $130 ??? I know it's a lot of money but what isn't nowadays and I have the added advantage of being able to use hard Euro's to get my $$ and that makes it a little easier on the pocket ;D I have send some email queries to shops that used to carry the bottle and also to my Star Bucks friend so now it's waiting for an answer. I saw a new/unused one on ebay last year that said $170 was the retail price. The high bid at the time was over a $100 and still had a few days to go on it, I didn't follow up on it after seeing that so I don't know what it finally sold for. You never know, you might get lucky and find one for cheap. Put a listing in the WTB(want to buy) section on a few forums and someone might have one they're not using and willing to part with.
