Does anyone here have a Camelbak Trizip?
I found a few reveiws online, but would like to hear from someone firsthand that owns one.

I'm looking for a bag between the size of a Falcon II and the Doppleduffel to fill a gap (size wise) and it seems this bag will do it great. Lots of pockets and features to keep things organized.

    Thoughts?
    Pics are welcome!

    Thanks!

I believe he's referring to a flap on the pack, so you can strap your rifle to the pack.

I think he means the flap on the front of the pack that can hold a helmet or a rolled up jacket etc. MR calls it a "stick-it pocket", you can see it on e.g. the Sweet Pea.

Just found a few more reviews online for it.
Seems like most people like it!

Still very interested in hearing from others who either own one or have checked one out in person.

I just sold one of my favorite flashlights to fund this.

Has anyone ordered from BotachTactical? are they a good company to do bussiness with and do they ship fast?
They seem to be the cheapest $181 as opposed to eBay at $249 only problem is I was wanting the coyote and Botach doesn't have it in stock.

Thanks again for the help guys!

I love my Tri Zip and use it as an EDC, but then again I carry a lot of stuff around with me.

I have changed it up a bit and mounted my TAD Gear OP1 to the side. It is a nice pack if you have a lot of stuff to carry. I also stuff my 16" laptop into the pack with ease. So it can carry a large load if need be. The Molle on the pack allow you to configure it to your liking as far as additions. This Mystery Ranch/Camelbak is an awesome pack. The Quality is top notch and the unique trizip access into the pack is pretty nice. Not to mention the comfy Futura harness system. I am a bag ***** and I can tell you that this is one purchase i dont regret.

Regarding Botach, what I've read and heard around various forums is mixed, but slanted more towards the negative. Not sure if there's a thread about them in the dealer feedback section here at EDCF but there's a ton of stuff on them in the GBU section at Bladeforums. The thread below is just one of many there and has links to several other threads inside it.

Personally, I wouldn't take the chance.

At least over at BF Botach is considered a cancer.
Since they're not the last company on the web, I definitively would not risk it.

brix, Thanks for the pics and your thoughts!!

I think I'm just gonna buy one on ebay since the store there has 100% feedback and a LOT of it!

Thanks for the words of caution guys!...I'd rather pay more for a store with good customer care.

I bought an MR Dragon Slayer recently bigger than the CB model, has the tri zipper feature. Great pack!

For the headache, spend the extra scratch instead of dealing Botach.

As for Ebay I have seen these for $200.00 and under. I can't remember the shop though, search Camelbak tri zip.

www.gearzoneproducts.com have TriZip in all colors for 175$, i've ordered mine from them few days ago.

    http://www.gearzoneproducts.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=4459

I've got thousands of dollars forth of gear from them and they seem to be reliable.

One note though: when making an order, ask them to contact you if items are not available for dispatch right now, they do have some logistical issue in stocking and unless you want to wait forever on back-order, it's good to do that.

    SWEEEEET!!!

    THANKS!!

    Gotta love saving money!
I ALMOST bought one earlier for $249 but held off.

I sent them an email asking if they had coyote in stock.
As soon as I get confirmation, I will be placing an order.

What colors do you guys have?
I probably would have gone for OD if they made it.
Hopefully the coyote color is kinda dark (like in the pics) as opposed to the lighter Maxpedition Khaki.

I too have heard negative things about Botach. Of course, this was after i placed an order. I waited 6 weeks for a Maxpedition with absolutely no communication from Botach. After a while I just canceled my order. What is BF?

Why is it that when you go to the site normal, you can't find the TriZip anywhere, there is nothing under combat/tactical packs at all.

Ah well, I ordered a Maxped Falcon II today and got some good deals on some 5.11 Tactical pants from LA Police gear.
