I originally had a 24oz black Hydroflask but my ocd wanted to match my SS 16oz Klean Kanteen. So I sold my black Hydroflask to Plumbah and ordered a Black 20oz Klean Kanteen. Shortly after ordering, my Wife like my SS 16oz Klean Kanteen so much she took it, so I ordered a 12oz SS Klean Kanteen for my coffee :)

It's the perfect size! I would've bought the same exact one had it been long enough be strapped on the side of my pack!

OP... how many stainless steel insulated drinking bottles have you tested your capCAP with?
I know it won't work well with the Hydro Flask (huge disppointment). I just read that the Klean Kanteen has the same problem.
Every SS insulated bottle I find on Amazon I ask if a capCAP works with it, but I don't get much for responses.
I asked Human Gear on their Facebook page, but they can only speak for the CamelBak one, which only comes in one size, which is way smaller than what I need.

Anyone know if the Camelbak Durable Chute Cap Fits All CamelBak Chute
fits Hydro Flask or other SS insulated bottles? Looks like the closest thing to an HG capCAP

It's not for a wide-mouth bottle, is it?
I prefer wide mouth so I can jam full sized ice cubes in.
It doesn't look like a full-flow cap either.

Yes and no. The threading on the HF is similar to the KK - much sleeker than the threading on Nalgenes and Camelbaks. It's quite possible to get a CapCap to fit the HF/KK threading, but it takes some practice and patience. Someone posted a good article about it on here, if I recall correctly. But isn't nearly as fast and easy as using a CapCap on a Nalgene/CB.

The Nathan Bigshot cap *might* fit the KK/HF threading - they look similar, but I don't have either bottle to test. A word about the Nathan Bigshot cap - the mouth opening is somewhat smaller than most comparable lids and the spout has a cushion that can come off; so don't put your mouth over the entire spout or you might be swallowing more than water.

And no - the Chute cap uses the same threadings for CB and Nalgene. It would perform the same as a CapCap on HF/KK.

Now, if you feel like experimenting: Sigg makes a version of the wide-mouth to spout bottle cap. You can find it on the Sigg site, by itself, as the "WMB adapter" - about $5. You have to buy the lid to the adapter separately, which is another $5. But the threading looks similar.

The next time you're in a store with both a Sigg bottle, and a wide mouth KK or HF, it might be worth experimenting to see if the threads are compatible. I've seen some photos on the web to suggest they are.

My family pretty much converted to Klean Kanteen. My wife has my black 20oz insulated for water and I ordered her a lavender 12oz insulated for coffee. I have her 16oz SS insulated for water and a 12oz SS for coffee.

Putting a capCap on a 40 oz KK, back in this threads it tells you how to do it: heating up the cap
Cap then screw it down and cool it. still working for me.

Any idea which page that's on and if it would work with a HF?

I tried it a few years ago. It leaks similar to a capCAP.

Um... The capcap does work with a Hydro Flask. At least it did on my 32oz HF.
