RAMI with my new Launch 8. Too bad I have to send the Launch back already because the tip was broken and the edge was flattened.

Slipjoint, that's the coolest picture in the thread. And being an "old grandpa" I had to order one of those knives. Great post!

Well thank you very much for saying so!

The 1903 Colt is such a beautifully made gun. It's also beefy enough to take the HOT .32 loads. The hotter loads allow it to hit much harder than the .32 mouseguns that can only take the lighter loads. At some point I would like to send it to a gunsmith to have modern combat-grade sights installed on it.

I think I paid like $280 or so for that gun about 10 years ago at my local LGS. It was an amazing bargain back then, and even moreso by today's standards since people have rediscovered them. It boggles my mind that one of my grail guns dropped into my lap like that, but you'd be surprised at what you'll find if you keep your eyes open.

As far as the K55 knife goes, they are lots of fun and shockingly modern for a design that is over 150 years old. I recently tried out a qwik-thumb stud on mine and it works quite well once you figure out the right grip for it. However, the clamp-on thumbstuds stick up too far and make it less easy to carry or draw on such a slim blade. So I think I'm going to try and find a more low-profile alternative.

A fellow fan of the Poet? I've yet to see one in the wild, but looks like a sweet little package.
