This knife has classic looks; drop-point hunter with a 4.5” stainless steel blade with a deep wide handle.

Absolutely love this knife, unfortunitly it doesn't get much carry time anymore. Thinking I should rotate this one into my fixed blade rotation and give it some belt time.

how does the rush compare to the impulse? I owned the impulse and loved it. Sadly at work I set it down and a customer walked off with it.:(

I've been looking for a blade like the one above the bucklite pro, can someone tell me the grind on that blade?

I assume you mean the 113 Ranger Skinner, if so, I'm not sure the grind has a name. I'd call it a stylized hollow grind tapering from partial to full; perhaps someone else can identify it and tell whether Buck has imitated a specific knifemaker with this idea. (Arno Bernard seems to do something similar) Buck uses similar grinds on the Colleague, the Scholar, the Nobleman, and their new Harvester series, although in all of these the grind tapers to full more aggressively. I can't say I've seen a grind profile exactly like the 113's on anything else.

I think mine is a Tempest, not a Rush. It's a bigger knife, so it fits my hand better. I don't care for the feel of the skeletonized handles though.

I've seen it on the nobleman, I just really like that grind, looking for something similar.

How is the S30v and lockup on the Lux pro? Been thinking about getting one as a gift for someone, but I've heard mixed review.

I can't speak of the steel, as I haven't used it enough. The reasons I haven't used it: It's a smaller knife, so I can only get three fingers on it when I hold it. The adjustment for opening the blade seems to be either so tight it won't open, or so loose it opens with a flick of the wrist - I haven't been able to make it stay in a happy medium where it opens with the flipper. The lockup is spotty. Sometimes it's fine, and sometimes it only looks like it's locked and will slam shut with a little pressure.

It's a shame, as it's a very aesthetically pleasing knife. However, I'd suggest finding something else for a gift.

Copy is a bit of a hard word as they most likely fell out of the same machine or at least factory...
