Whether it be down the street to buy milk or a walk on the beach, you will be hard-pressed to catch me not carrying this stuff. Managed to fit all this stuff in jeans and a normal sweater without looking like a hardcore z0mb13 hunter.

    A dozen!

Dang dude, twelve blades? And just to be clear, you carry all of this every day, and not rotated?

    If so, rock on. :)
My personal balance point for convenience-of-having versus inconvenience-of-carrying tips at about three including multitool(s), but if you seriously haul all this all the time, then you've got my vote for Most Dedicated EDCer of the Week.

I am not sure what the purpose is in carrying four flashlights, six knives, 2 apparently identical mini multitools, a SAK, a full size mutlitool, two phones (or an iPhone Touch and a Blackberry), and three small Maxped cases. Can you give us some insight on all of the redundancy?

haha I'll show you guys how I carry it later. The blackberry is for business and the iphone is personal. I have one light on my vest and one light in my pocket. The small light is actually attached to my blackberry holster, the other one goes on my belt. I have a leatherman wave on my belt as well and the other multi tools go in my jacket pocket and my front pockets. One maxpedition is a wallet the other two just carry stuff. One has like bandaids and business cards and paper and other random stuff and one has some tools in it including the wenger clipper. Thats actually a saw. I carry that as a joke. There was one time where I had everything except a saw and everyone in my family criticized me for carrying all this stuff but no saw. SO I found the smallest pocket saw and it now sits in the small maxpedition glove wallet. I barely notice its there. Two knives in my vest and two knives in pockets. The small knive sits in this small little change pocket in my front jean. I dont wear my vest everyday so technically most of it stays somewhere. But I always bring my vest out with me in the car and into my stores. =D

As for the point in carrying all of this stuff.. Did you really ask that question on this forum? =)

Good response, Brian. (Most of us can admit that we need a 12 step program, but we're having too much fun!)

Carry what you need and nothing more or less. If you need all this stuff then carry it. I am always rethinking what and how I carry stuff and sometimes things just get cut because I haven't used them recently. I have also found it useful to organize things into kits. I have that much stuff I just don't carry all of it at the same time. I am sure there are circumstances where carrying all of this is essential. I just never encounter them. If I were in Baghdad then I'd have a ton of stuff. I carry a lot of legal stuff at work. Same amount but different things, though the iPhone has cut down on that stuff too.

I hope you never fall into deep water carrying all that stuff... (unless you're carrying a lifejacket somewhere in there, too)....

I think i'm up there with mr eric. I must say he does a pretty good job at concealing all of that stuff.
