My first pair of boots. Wolverines. Not as shmancy fancy as some of you guys', but I love em Sent from my 2PQ93 using Tapatalk
I rotate the following depending on use and season: Hangwag Tatra for rough outdooring Timberland Euro Hikers for all season casual beaters Timberland Scramble Gtx for lighter winter use (not hikers) Dolomite 54 low for allround casual, urban wear, lightfooted outdoorsing etc I like rotating to extend lifespan and keep my feet fresh, avoid bad habits with posture and such.
I have a pair of beaten up Coogan London brogue boots in suede, that are the most comfortable boots I have ever worn. If I could wear them every day then I would.
Zamberlan GTX for hiking. For general purpose Cabelas Featherlight Kangaroo leather boots. Both are very comfortable.
Yeah, RW makes great boots. I think the jeans are "Iron Heart's" - 21oz selvedge. Sent from my SM-N920P using Tapatalk
Just had to pick up new pair of work boots, figured I would try out a pair of Nicks Hot Shots this time around, since both pairs of my Whites are down for repairs at the same time.....
I am wearing the new 5.11 Tactical XPRT 3.0 boot. Technically I don't think it is fully out yet and is slated for fall this year. I managed to acquire one from 5.11 directly. I think they work for all occasions. Extremely comfortable, even more than 5.11's typical high level of comfort. They are expensive I believe, it would certainly be something I would need to plan ahead to buy... But even their cheaper models are still very very comfortable.
Anyone's thoughts of Original Swat vs 5.11? I'm looking for new beater boots. I wear boots pretty much every day to work and back 2k walk and back ( i wear work boots at work ) daily not including the usual weekend warrior things ( Pubs, drunk city hikes,Punk/metal shows)
I was just on the Nick's site and their in store measuring service seems pretty in depth (I believe that the in store fitting is $125 (ouch)) . Did you go into the store for fitting or did you do the paper measuring? How did they turn out? Any pics?
