    Thank you sir, appreciate that.

In general, I have found the knife and EDC gear community a giving one. One of the few 'places' I have found in recent years where that can be said, makes me happy to be a part of it.

Dunno how my mini-grip got so dirty, I just use it for common EDC tasks. Today it was fun with flush mounted closet bolts...

User. The funny thing is that I've sold it around 3 years ago. Someone posted it for sale for $30. I jumped on it.... Same one I've sold.

New to the forum and new to quality knives. I've been a budget EDC carrier for years. In the last couple years, I carried a CRKT Drifter mostly, then a CRKT Squid and lastly a Kershaw Cryo before finally deciding to invest in some quality steel. I went with the Mini RSK MK1 m390. I already have some custom CF scales being made by Igorded and will post an updated picture when I get those on.

I love this knife and am very glad I decided to step up from the beater EDCs I've been carrying! I've caught the bug and am already thinking about buying a second one, or a full size, and getting a different set of scales for that :D

Great choice for a first quality knife. That is one that will handle most anythng and last a life time.

You will be surprised how changing the handles will change the character of the knife too, they will definately move it up the scale yet another notch or two... :)

Thank you, Tony and Lightning! I've been loving the Ritter Mini so far and can't wait to get the CF scales on there. I may send it all off to TheApostleP from YouTube for his sharpening/spa service. I was thinking I'd send him the knife and scales and ask him to do the swap as well. The blade is slightly off center and the action is getting smoother by the day but I know he'd put a nice mirror finish on an even better edge, and ensure everything is in tip-top shape.

Partially in preparation for separating from my new favorite knife, and partially to have a quality work horse as well, I just pulled the trigger on a Spyderco PM2. My thought is that my Ritter Mini will be my "classy" edc, especially with the CF scales on it. I thought about getting the full size Ritter as my work horse but thought a little variety would be nice and I prefer the features of the PM2 for a work horse when I'm out camping, wheeling, fishing, biking, etc. I also figured I'd save some money with the PM2 as I'd likely want to get some G10 scales for the full size grip. To think, I had spent maybe $80 on my EDC knives over the past 3-4 years (Drifter, Squid and Cryo) but now I've spent nearly $400 in the past week. I have definitely been hit by the bug but I think the combination of the Ritter Mini and PM2 will cover my knife needs for the next several years!

Just got my Igorded scales for my Ritter Mini Grip yesterday. Full CF, drilled for right hand, tip up carry only, with no lanyard hole.

My Pocket Clip doesn't touch the scale of the knife....is this normal or is my clip a defect?
