Here are the 3 main organizers I carry daily: Maxpedition Cocoon for snacks and toothbrush, Maxpedition EDC (one side first-aid and the other side tools) and a Husky tool pouch for batteries and cords. I'd like to consolidate all of this into one organizer. Would the Condor T&T do the trick, you think? Can anyone suggest another option with a form factor similar to the Condor? Maybe? Here is one pretty loaded but there is still space in both inside pockets under the tools too and a whole lot of Molle outside to attach other things should it come to that. The Cocoon for instance should probably not be with the tools anyway so I might stick it on the outside where the toothbrush will not get dirty.
Wow, I somehow hadn't even considered attaching the Cocoon to the outside of the T&T. Great idea. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
That is a story really in itself maybe! That is an antique Crate Hammer that used to be made and sold and is one of the handiest tools that I have and have multiples of. I bought the first one new and then have stalked yard sales and flea markets for years to find others with no real success and then there was Ebay! Search for Crate Hammer and there are usually several there in different sizes and weights and many people that have seen one of mine ended up buying a few on Ebay and I have added a few that way too. I keep them in every tool pouch I use everyday and it might be the handiest tool that I have behind a Knife,Diagonal Cutters and Strippers. Also great to know I can pull it out at dicey times anywhere I might be but looks innocent enough at the same time. Great when used as a Pry bar and with another bigger hammer for chipping and prying and I use mine for Hollow Wall Anchors all the time too.
Not really these are a simple hunk of steel though there are interesting little differences between certain ones too which is part of the fun of finding them. I don't think I have ever paid more than $12 for one just to give you an idea and they are fun to collect for me and I use all of them from different tool bags. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
