Hello, just got done flame coloring my TPT.
If you decide to do this please make safety your first concern . To maintain function the magnet inside the TPT must be removed before coloring. It's vary thin and unfortunately I chipped mine while prying it out. It still works so I didn't try to source a new one. I don't know but perhaps there is a better way to remove it.
I Chose to polish before coloring. I started with 100 grit wet or dry sand paper and finished with 3000. I Used plenty of water and alternated direction between grits. Cheers!

Nice job on the flame coloring. Do you think the tpt is big enough for masking and DC anodizing some lettering? Have a bad "habit" of losing my issued box cutters / scrapers and if I end up with a tpt would like to give it a good chance at returning.

Thanks! I don't have any experience with DC anodizing but I imagine you could. The TPT measures 1"x3". HTH
