Hey guys let's see your big folders. I'll start....
OOOO....let me go take a pic of a beauty...
Well...In your thread title you didn't say folder so I'm gonna post mine anyway
I dont think any of us will complain
Conjures up our best Australian accents in all of us. NOW THATS A BLADE!
Here are a few with a Manix2xl for scale
Might have a preference for the big stuff!
Sorry for the crappy cell phone pics and duplicated photos.
Holy Smokes!!!!! Thats GORGEOUS!!
What's the hat? I'm in the market for something similar. Sweet, sweet blade, BTW.
Tilley TH5 Hemp Hat
Picked this one up at a recent gun show:
(Found this photo online)
Blade is about 4 inches long, but massive. For less than $30 it is quite impressive. Came in a white cardboard box, no markings except what could be an 'E' or a 'W' or an 'M' on the pocket clip.
After much digging around on the Internet I find out it's probably some kind of Chinese knock-off of a Medford Knife Company Praetorian.
It's not probably a knock-off. It IS a knock-off, right down to the pocket clip.
with some other titanium items.
Looking good guys! I love seeing some knives I've never seen before
Honestly, I had never even heard of Medford Knives until I started researching this knife. Although I have a large collection of shelf queens and user knives, I generally stick with the major brands. Imagine my surprise when I found a company selling knives for over a thousand bucks ... W-a-y out of my range!
Anyway, I didn't buy it because it looked like anything in particular, especially a clone of another knife; rather I bought it because the seller gave me a good deal on it and for the money it is an amazing chunk of steel.
And another Catch Dog:
This is a whole lot of knife for a very reasonable price.
