I have a Zebra mechanical pencil and it's as fine as I've owned. I've not seen it's equal.

I just bought a Zebra 701 & 402, and combined the two; I think the 701 looks best with the tip, clip, and end cap from the 402...
For my 402 and 301, I used Talstrip aircraft paint remover on a Q-tip to take the painted model number & logo off the sides.

only found out about the F-701 mod a few weeks back. Went to staples same day, modded........best :censored:ing pen ever. I loved that I didn't have to use the SPR4 parker attachment; makes the click worse in my opinion.

haha I've loved Zebra pens since I'd first found out about them back in grade school (it was from Sam's Club - a set of pens and pencils was begotten for my birthday). I'd since forgotten about them until a couple of weeks ago when I needed to use up my Staples Rewards before they expired. I absolutely love my F-701 now! :) I use it with the 1.6mm bold refills. :D

Fisher Space pen filled with a slightly clipped Zebra G-301 refill. Not a fan of ballpoints and this combo is just the ticket.

Its not shiny or anything special but it is definitely, by far my favorite pen I have used. I would only use a F-301 for the longest time but this writes just as fine and write in a really dark black. I like the space pen too but it doesn't write as dark as this. Anybody have another fine roller ball suggestion?

If it's dark ink you're after... look for a roller that you like and refill it with Noodler's Heart of Darkness. :)

I used to be in love with the Pilot Precise V5's. By using pliers and pulling out the feed, I was able to refill it with my fountain pen ink of choice. :)

I got a little carried away....had some cash to burn...
I went to Staples and picked up the following....
    1x Zebra F-701
    2x Zebra G-301
    2x Zebra M.301 (.05 Pencil)
    1x Parker Jotter SS
1x Space Pen refill for my space pen that has been residing in my pocket for a few years now.

I love my 301, now I am going to have to get me a 701. I also do love the G2, but they smear sometimes.

Love the F-301. Found out about it in my High School years but not for writing. Stopped at a truck stop for papers on the way home from a concert and the clerk said don't have em' but with this nifty little pen and a little creativity you had a nice smoking implement. He had a scam going where he showed you the way and you donated the ink to him. Bet this dude never runs out of ink. Now I continue to buy them but to actually write with as I soon found out how well they wrote.

I've been carrying an Inka Pen on my keys for about four years now. The cartridges last a decent length of time, it writes smoothly, and I NEVER LOSE IT.
